I would like to say congratulations to the successful conservative candidates of 2006! Especially to Roger Koopman, Steve White, Scott Sales, John Sinrud, and Jack Wells. Although I am slightly frightened at the prospect of both the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives being controlled by Democrats, I rejoice in the local victories and trust in God's perfect plan for the United States. Who knows, a congress controlled by Democrats might bring the U.S. to her knees!

Amen, Brooke, isn't it wonderful that they all won their more-or-less close elections!
Renee,
Yea, it was so exciting to hear about their wins! And the Koopman-Vincent race was within 50 votes or something like that. God was definitly working!
Hello Brooke! The V-K race held an almost 300 vote margin out of 5000 votes. And we already talked about the bright side of the Democratic win. :)
Bryce,
Wow, I was way off on my numbers for the race...must have been looking at some old figures...oh well, that isn't unusual for me. =)
Yes we did talk about the bright side, although I wasn't exactly counting on both houses going to the dems. =0 I'm glad you brought that up though, otherwise I would have been pretty sad when Tester won.
